Ladykiller 7″ and single

Hey All,
We have a new single and 7″ out today. This one is for Ladykiller. The A side features the studio version of Ladykiller and the b-side is our cover of INXS’ song “Never Tear Us Apart” that we did at the Sirius/XM studios last September. You can download the single from iTunes or pick up the 7″ from your local record shop.

Thanks!

(PS. Below you can check out a video of us performing “Never Tear Us Apart” live at the Troubadour.)

Ladykiller 7″

Hey All!

We just wanted to let you know that we have a new 7″ coming out next month, February 21st to be exact. The A side features the studio version of Ladykiller and the B side is our cover of the INXS song “Never Tear Us Apart”, which was recorded live at the Sirius/XM stduios. SideOneDummy is pressing it on 3 colors. Red, Yellow and Black, BUT the red and yellow sold out before we could even post this via the internet, so all that is left is black vinyl, which will be available at your local record store if ya want to check that out. We also got a video for Ladykiller coming soon, so keep an eye out for that. Stay tuned for more updates…maybe some shows? Who knows!

Thanks!

“Behold The Hurricane” (Live at the Troubadour)

Soooo…if you haven’t been able to see how good Ian Perkins looks in a suit yet, this is your chance. Our friend Kevin Custer came out to LA and took some video of us playing at the Troubadour, just to prove how well Ian cleans up. You can check it out over here.

Thanks!

(PS…thanks to Ted Young for making this sound awesome!)

Video

Behold The Hurricane tells a pretty sad story, we didn’t feel right about having two guys wailing away on guitars to tell it. The best guy I know for the alternative, meaning making a film rather than a music video, is Corin Hardy. He’s just amazing and he captured what the song feels like visually. So today we present to you a film of a man becoming lost… Behold the Hurricane

Go Tell Everybody

Happy Labor Day!
We just wanted to let you know that iTunes is giving away a new song from Elsie for FREE! You can download “Go Tell Everybody” for nothing, right now…all ya gotta do is click here and download it! Elsie is available everywhere starting tomorrow. Hope you enjoy the song and the day off!

Thanks!

The Gear Talk…

For those who’re wondering and have been asking…

Here’s the gear I use…
Guitars:

Butterscotch Nash TK-54 w/ Humbucker in the Neck (Keith Richards style.)
Black Nash TC-63 w/ Humbucker in the Neck
Mary Kay White T-52
you can find these guitars from the good folks at Nashguitars
Amps:

For Europe and the UK I use a Marshall 1974x 18watt Combo.
Yea, even for the big shows. 18watts is PLENTY!
For the US I use this little lady… Billy Penn Bandmaster
For Pedals:

This changes quite often, I’m a freak about pedals, but the mainstays are:
Fulltone Mini Deja Vibe 2
Fulltone ’69 Pedal
T Rex Reptile 2
T Rex Comp Nova
Analog Man King of Tone
Analogman Mini Bi Comp
I also love the Fulltone Cables, they don’t break.
There you go. Have fun.
